Pokemon Sword/Shield special edition also confirmed. I wonder if this will actually come with the game pre-installed, or if it's just looks and you have to buy seperately (my money's on the latter).

Yep, games not included.
"There will also be a special edition Pokemon Sword and Shield Nintendo Switch Lite which will feature legendary Pokemon Zacian and Zamazenta for $199.99 USD, but it does not include either Pokemon Sword or Shield. It will be released on November 8, 2019."
