At the end of the day I think this fighting to get the ms down by 1-2 isn't going to be what makes this service a must have. There needs to be something else to make up for the lack of actual ownership of the games and I think that has to be in the form of a massive subsidizing of the price of software on the platform.
In the same way coming out on stage talking about the memory bandwidth of the x1x didn't get the average gamer buying the system I don't feel that talking about ms and data center talk is going to make this seem like a viable platform in contrast to talking about what matters to gamers and that is price, games and accessibility. That is to say, stop this talk about limiting the streaming to certain controllers or having to buy certain google brand phones, if they want it to be popular it will need to be accessible to as many people as might be interested in it.
