Lots of posts since I came here last...jeez

Anyways, overall I feel like the last two episodes were solid (though there were tons of smaller criticisms) but they stood on a shaky foundation. I feel the flaws with developing Dany's heel turn, power levels and the numerous loose plot threads really held back the impact of what should have been a good finale. I think if they gave things a couple more episodes and focused more on a couple key characters (let Dany's turn breathe more and make Bran less shite) instead of just trying to sprint between story beats, things would have kit a lot harder.

Looking back, there was a lot of great in Game of Thrones, but a lot of issues. Some seasons are a slog and a lot of the plot threads don't tie up as well as you would hope. It is still worth watching in its entirety, but I don't think it has the honor of being one of the "greatest shows of all time" like it could have been.
