Is anyone here interested in Terminator: Dark Fate?

As for me, I'd give this a pass after 3 bad movies in a row, but this one (surprisingly) has my attention for several reasons. 1)It's got Tim Miller, director of the first Deadpool movie with James Cameron returning as a producer, so it'll have his input as well. That alone gives me hope. 2)It's getting the Halloween treatment, ignoring all the shitty sequels and pretending T3-T5 never happened, YAY! 3)Linda Hamilton's coming back. 4)They actually revealed footage at CinemaCon 2019 and the reactions were very positive, saying Cameron's influence was very much there.

However, if it's another watered-down PG-13 Terminator, then I might just Redbox or Putlocker it. If, by now, they STILL haven't learned their lesson after AVP, the last 2 Terminator movies and RoboCop 2014, then they deserve another flop. However, all signs point to it being rated R, for real this time, unlike when McG said they were aiming for an R rating with Terminator: Salvation. MacKenzie Davis apparently has a pretty revealing nude scene from the CinemaCon footage, another sign that it's returning to its R roots. I'm not saying make movies overly violent/gory just for the sake of it, but fuckin' A, it's the Terminator, a series known for its brutality and grittiness, which the last 2 films completely lacked. It doesn't guarantee a good movie (T3 also sucked), but it IS an important element of the franchise. It's about time the series returned to its roots and Terminator was actually scary/intense again.
