A slow motion to show all characters in close-up one by one, in the middle of an amazing and fast battle, is out of place and breaks the rhythm, that's what makes it noticeable. EDIT: They should have done that at the beginning of the battle, when everyone was arriving by the portals. That would have been natural there. Not in the middle of the fight.

Yup, this 100% the scene just really was shoehorned in to show just how many of them there are and for nothing other than to disperse again and get back into the fighting, also to have Rescue open up her helm a second time along with the Wasp doing the same thing just to show that it's a woman was 100% absolutely shot for that reason, there is no real way to argue it.

I wouldn't have thought the start of the fight as a good place to do this shot either as that made more sense considering every portal opening had the dusted members from that area, so Wakanda's portal had Bucky/Groot/Panther/Shuri/Falcon then the Titan portal had The guardians/Spiderman and Strange.

as for Mach's thing about "if the scene in avengers was all white males then it would be normal..." yeah it wasn't though, stop creating and fighting a battle in your head, if you wanna find a shot of all the heroes together which is just guys go for one (Civil war comes to mind for Cap Vs Stark), otherwise leave that shit out with your QQ'ing about white males in the MCU being the norm and all that people want when BP was probably one of the highest and best recieved movies in the franchise, you're fighting a fight which has already ended when you look at just how fantastically diverse the MCU heroes and villains is.
