You first need to bring the entangled particles to the destination, but theoretically it could work. Then all we need is transporters or stargates. No need for generation ships or cryo chambers, simply send one with a stargate onboard. It's just informtation you can transmit ofcourse, any raw materials need to still be hauled back physically.

True. Steps would need to be taken before quantum entanglement could be put to use in that sense, and yes, lag free internet well before that.
