I was laughing just last week when I saw an article (in Business insider I think, not totally sure) about Media Create getting used increasingly to predict sales for investors (apparently according to that article they also already make international predictions behind closed doors). So I suspect they are smelling the extra money they could make from also selling the data from Japan
