Switch outsold the X1 by 163k units this week, if the numbers for both machines and that gap was to stay solid it would take Nintendos little beast 61 more weeks of this to consume the last of the lead the X1 has on it by launching 3.5 years ahead of the Nintendo system and having 2 major hardware revisions since then.
Personally I don't think it will be 61 weeks if that time includes a holiday season 2019 that has Pokemon Shield and Sword ready to go with the Switch then I think the lead of the X1 over the system will be done with by the holidays unless something major comes out of E3 by either party, still though a lead of 160k is difficult to maintain over a rival system during the summer months where systems regularly drop to those kind of numbers so... unless X1 starts to sell negative amounts it would be tough for Switch to continue that size of a gap, although there was some weeks this Christmas that the Switch pulled back close to a million units in 7 days so a couple of those around the time of Sword and Shield would smooth over some rough slow weeks.
