I really need to watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, I've never seen it before. I've seen Spaceballs and Cool Runnings which he was in, and of course I've seen Home Alone and National Lampoon's Vacation, which he both had small parts in.

You definitely should! I still need to watch more of his filmography, I have seen a lot of the films that he's a supporting character in but mostly as a younger child. It's probably a litlte bit weird to say this but I know him way more for Spaceballs, Uncle Buck and Planes Trains than I do Home Alone or National Lampoon as I didn't watch those two films much as a kid. I only watched Planes Trains like once or twice as a kid too but the fact that it holds up as well as the surprise made it such a memorable experience.

My man! I love Planes, Trains & Automobiles. An all-time great comedy, and Hughes' best, if you ask me. Intelligent, funny, and downright touching—especially that finale.

My bud! Yeah, it truly is great. It helps that you kind of feel like his "character" in Planes and Trains is really just him. Ugh, I should have watched it this Christmas ;-(
