As well as Mario Kart?As Mario Tennis Aces(going for 3 million and beyond)?Mario RPGs?So much so that they are all franchises of their own.

There is sell well, and there is sell WELL.But you guys understood what I said.Is it that hard to understand that there is people, and in great quantity, that are not satisfied by Sword and Shield?

Not as well as Mario Kart but as well as many other Mario spinoffs. This site has a game database, check it out.

I have no problem with people not being satisfied by Sword/Shield, I have a problem with making up nonsense arguments to support your stance like "Pokemon isnt beloved outside of Gen 1/2 & Pokemon spinoffs dont sell well."

Here is a database for you to take a look at:

https://vgsales.fandom.com/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon

If you look closely, almost all recent spin off games have been selling worse than their older counterpart.Im not making this stuff up.They still sell well, mind you, but lets not lie to ourselfs that Pokemon is as healthy as it was 15 years agp, even if it still sells stupidly well.

And again, its not me , but the Pokemon Company that always chooses to use Pikachu, Mewtwo, Charizard, Squirtle and so on when marketing their big projects.Pokemon GO?Mostly gen 1.Detective pikachu?Mostly gen 1.Even Sword and Shield had to have the obligatory Pikachu in it.

Again, its not like the other gens are not liked. They are. They just dont stand up to gen 1 and 2.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
