Im not sure if M$ could afford much of a price drop.
The need to cut the price in Japan, Asia, Ausrtralia and New Zealand -- first. especially here in Australia ...
In Europe they already did a large price drop. The Arcade pack is cheaper than the Wii their...
In North America due to weak dollar in not sure Microsoft can afford to cut the price ...
Finally -- i can't see M$ making a move aganist SONY untill they know what cards SONY is holding. They already spent OVER $7 billion trying to beat SONY. Only to have Nintendo surpass them... now they in a position to profit for a while while they build up a good reputation and pre-pare for the next generation which will proberly start in 2012... a mere 4 years away...
