At the moment the PS3 does have the better looking games, though thats due in large part to the switch only being out just over 2 years, at the end of its life will the Switch have anything that can match last of us? debatable we will have to see in a few years time.

Its possible no developers are going to create a game with the attention to environment detail of Naughty Dog games for Switch. But that doesn't mean Switch is incapable.

You seem to be very confused in your post. Are you suggesting the PS3 has 8GB of memory? In practice the Switch's CPU seems more capable given it does a better job targeting 30 fps or even 60 fps. I think it can handle GTAV with little compromise if any. The Switch can handle LA Noire quite well and that's likely a rushed port.

Anyway, I really think the general consensus is the Switch's best looking games are much more polished than the best looking games on PS3. The multiplat games tend to look much better on Switch over PS3. However, people feel PS3 exclusives look better because they go for a more realistic art style even its at a lower resolution than Switch tends to aim for.
