I mostly hope they ignore that Sun & Moon and the Let's Go games happened, and instead make something like X & Y or Black & White.
What I mean by that, is that they shouldn't focus too much on changes. Instead they should try to make an actual good game. Kalos was by far the most interesting region in the franchise, while Alola was very bland and uninspired (and it also felt small, because they made everything bigger). The region is very important in a Pokémon game, since it's the main difference between the games. Story-wise, they should look at B&W, which had an interesting story with little dialogue, compared to S&M which was full of cutscenes.
Oh, and I also want every single Pokémon to be in the game. And no spotlight on the same overrated few.
