BC is a given and so is BC upscaling. Texture updates will be a cute nugget for some games but I think the real intention is to make end of life PS4 titles cross gen without actually having to port to PS5.
I wouldn't be surprised if late gen games are sold simply labelled as "Playstation"... "compatible with Playstation4 & 5" like The Last of Us 2. Again closer to what we're accustomed to with other tech & devices.
