With a comment like that, you can't be surprised that users show up occasionally to point out that Amazon has been bad at predicting the overall market in 2018. You're doing yourself a favor by continuing to view Amazon rankings as a predictor of Amazon sales only. According to NPD, PS4 came out on top in 8 months in 2018. That would've been impossible to "foreshadow" going by Amazon rankings where PS4 performs terribly.

With that said, I can easily see Switch selling 2 mill in December and steal the year from PS4 in the US

Thing is, PS4 is also kinda meh on the NPD prediction tool, and both show a downward trend for the console. So at this rate it looks like the December of the PS4 will be meh, or in other words below last year.
