There's a few ways to remake/remaster a game.
One way is to make the game exactly as it was with modern graphics and sounds (like Crash Bandicoot for the PS4)
Another is to totally remake the game from the ground up (like Resident Evil on the GameCube)
Yet another is to remake the game the way we remember it instead of how it actually was (Punch Out for the Wii)
I'm hoping this game is remade the way we think it was instead of how it actually was. By that, I mean the unparalleled sense of speed, the cartoony animations, the large sprawling tracks with tons of routes, and the great computer AI that always seemed fair and not cheap. They've already got a day one sale from me. I just want it to be every bit as good as I remember, unlike the NSane collection that really showed its age (to me at least).
