Well, that would cause a couple of things: first, it would strain the relations between Sega/Atlus and Sony, due to them being forced to spend additional resources to alter their product to meet a set of arbitrary standards, and that could in turn make Sega/Atlus and the other platform holders get closer in return. Second, it would make other studios weary of bringing their more risque titles to PS4 and future Sony consoles, once again giving their competition both a better image and better deals with 3rd parties. Third, that would alienate the userbase of those games, making it go in search for other consoles (and even if said userbase is small, it is really loyal, so they would probably follow the games to PC or other console). Fourth, people from outside that userbase might feel that the artistic integrity of the games being released is being threatened, and would end up as another blunder for the PlayStation brand in a relatively short amount of time, something the otherplatform holders are no doubt going to take advantage of.
