No, it's a direct confrontation of your argument. Nintendo isn't "a lot of developers". They have so much more clout, money, and resources at hand. How many small-time electronic companies do you think would want their product to sell ~15 million units globally? Just because there are other companies that would like to have what the Wii U achieved doesn't mean that for Nintendo, who have higher expectations for their products, it wasn't a failure.
It's a meaningless, substance-less attempt at a deflection that doesn't offer any sort of input into the conversation.
