Let the first parties (Nintendo, MS, Sony) duke it out by actually competing through their in house studios. That would bring out the best of them.

Why can't third party create something unique for Switch hardware which is quite different from competition. That's what I been missing so far, not some third party inferior ports.

They can, it's just that nowadays having so many platforms makes no sense to limit software to a singular hardware, when you can make it so it works on most platforms. The only real hardware exclusives (as in, games that could only work on one unique type of hardware) are either very niche projects, motion control family friendly titles and VR games.



You know it deserves the GOTY.
