Nintendo reported that Pokemon Let Go sold 1.5m in US in 15 days, Smash Ultimate has far more hype and hole month of sales, I would surprised if does not hit at least 3m in December.

It does have far more hype but Pokemon has mass appeal as well. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy it's doing so well but for any game to enter that list is mightily impressive, and even 2.5m for instance would be a huge win. I do think it will get 3m+ though but that's not based on any analytics apart from the Amazon results.
