Benji made a few posts about it on Era:

It sounds likely Switch was already over 1m by end of Cyber Monday and the 8.2m LTD isn't accurate. With 5 more days to track after that I think somewhere in the region of 1.2-1.5m Switch sales for November NPD is what we are looking at.

If you could put a link up that would be awesome.

Agreed probably a low end of 1.2m. Couple of hints:

  • Best ever week means it at least beat last year's launch and last year's Black Friday.
  • 100%+ increase over same period last year is absolutely massive. Switch sold something like 400k on BF last year so it ties up well with their statement on it outselling Wii's numbers same time period
Obviously Nintendo could've chosen the specific dates they wanted but as Black Friday is where most of the sales happen we can safely estimate it probably did 800k'sh during that time period.
All that taken into consideration, the Switch did 850k last November. Just adding Black Friday's numbers means it's around 1.25m which fits waht you're saying. Obviously it also depends on how many Switches Nintendo have shipped for stock but I think seeing as they want to push towards their end of year target they will be much less conservative and provide more than usual.
