The consumers who can't afford a PS4, possibly also can't afford to be part of events such as e3, even if it's due to their location and time. If instead of expecting those people to come to you for one big event, what if you spent all year going to them with smaller community based events? This would also be a great idea if you were launching a mobile/handheld/hybrid platform, after one large worldwide announcement first. If not, PS4 and Pro on the road would probably do wonders regardless.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
