Possible to Pokemon, definitely for Animal Crossing, maybe for Metroid.
Pokemon 2019 will sell 20m at least if it's a regular mainline game; depending on how good they make it, it could sell 25-30m+. The hunger is definitely there, but they need to make something that actually appeals to the people who will be buying it, not a super toddler-focused game.
AC will sell 15-20m+. It's an incredibly popular franchise that has only gotten more popular in the 6+ years (by the time the next one releases) since New Leaf. You'd have to be crazy to bet against it.
Metroid, I really don't know. It's fanbase are super vocal on the internet, but they don't turn up to support the games when they come. Samus Returns did terribly. If they market it well and/or add an attractive multiplayer aspect, I can see it selling 3m+, but if they don't I think it'll struggle to break 2m.
