The game was made to reward all old school players from the 90s who always were dying to see what kanto would be like with modern console graphics. I played it at an event and it was awesome. You can avoid wild pokemon by running around them and that way you are not stuck running from 30 rattata and zubat lol then there is rematches and raising pokemon in a more satisfying manner than havinh them spam ember 100 times on wild pokemon before each gym battle. I’ll think about it. If I’m being honest though, I really haven’t played much of the games I’ve bought recently, mostly due to work. I have to be really hyped for a game in order for me to motivate myself to buy and play through it fully nowadays. I will be getting the gen 8 games for sure.
