Of course. Pikmin's one of my favourite franchises; I'm very happy my main, Olimar, is looking scary so far, he needed a buff from Sm4sh.
Same goes for my other mains, Lucina, Ice Climbers and DK (I enjoy Fire Emblem, Ice Climbers and every DKC game outside of TF). The only exception is Yoshi, I love him as a character, but his games haven't traditionally been that great. I liked Yoshi's Story and Woolly World, but Island DS and New Island were both crap and the original SMW2 was eh too. Conversely, though Pokemon as a whole is my favourite series, most of the characters in Smash bore me. I main Jigglypuff/Squirtle from time to time, but dislike Lucario and Pikachu, couldn't care less about Greninja and am neutral with regards to Charizard and Ivysaur. I would have preferred other Pokemon over them, none of them really appeal to me.
