My personnal theory about why Nintendo has not revised the forecast :
If they still manage to reach it, this will make a very strong buzz in the medias. If they fail and announce 18,9 or 19,3M, 99% of the customers don't give a fuck about it. Only the 1% of experts in VGCHARTZ and the investors will care, which at the end won't influence the 99% of consumers who are planning or not to buy the console soon.
