Switch and PS4 look virtually identical more or less when going by NPD sales. Doesn't really matter who wins, it's more about staying in that same range.
The key for Nintendo is going to be to learn how to keep sales high in year 4/5/6 rather than declining hard than most Nintendo systems do. Switch Pro is a must, PS4 Pro is a lot of the reason why PS4 is showing such strength in the back half of its product cycle. XBox One X has given the XBox One a new lease on life entirely.
