So where is the big problem? Usually most big third party games come in at least 3 editions:

They could offer the cheapest edition for $60 on a 16 GB card with a partial download and the more expensive versions (with much higher profit margins) on a 32 GB card with the full game on the card (or the "ultimate edition" even on a 64 GB card if necessary).

We dont know even full game could fit on 32GB cart not to mentione 16GB, and how much download would be even in case of 32GB cart. So if they maybe use 32GB card with aditional download, cheapest option should be $70 to have similar margin of profit.

Fact is that Switch carts size/cost are real problem for developers in any case espacily when we talk about big games, this only proves that, Here Abstraction Games about the port of Ark Survival to the Switch:

He continues: "Performance is not really the issue. The issue instead is in the size of carts. The 32GB carts are expensive, you shouldn't be wanting to do that. So we need to fit everything on 16GB, whereas the standard game on PS4 is much, much larger. It's a crazy ratio we're talking about."

I"m not sure I got that quote or link the other two times you've brought it up. Could you please repeat it for me?

RDR2 is never coming to the Switch. That's very clear. They could make 64 GB cartridges and it probably still wouldn't be big enough. Cart size costs aren't a problem for developers, they're a problem for Nintendo.
