The right will say Obama is to blame for dividing the country because he said bad things about bad cops bit will fully absolve Trump for years of divisive language.  It only starts at the top if it involves Obama.

True, we can actually go back to Obama for starting it all.  He had the nerve to be partially black, say bad cops should be punished and basically dividing the nation by having barbecues on the White House front lawn.  Trump is a direct reaction to Obama since America thought Obama was going to be this militant black president and he basically was just boring.  We needed someone to actually act like the stereotypical black person so here we are today.

Anyway people just ignore this post as I was just messing with EricHiggins and throwing Trump into everything I do agree side track the OP post.  At the end of the day, for whatever political or non political reason this is happening now, I wonder if we will ever get the full truth of it.

My fault for starting the mess. It was bound to trickle down. It's basic Higginomics.

Trump is solely to blame. Only his words could lead to violence against his opponents or anyone else.

There is no chance whatsoever that Waters calling for harassment, or Clinton claiming civility cannot exist until the left have power again, in no way could lead anyone to want to incite violence against them or anyone else. Impossible.

Whether it's explosive devices sent to Dems, media, and celebs, or white powder sent to Reps or Trumps family members, none of it is acceptable. This is politics not war, words not weapons.

Don't forget Corey Booker telling the Left to get up in people's faces. Of course, those words mean nothing. It's not like just a year ago a crazy Bernie Sanders supporter, who thought Reps were evil, not just political opponents, tried to kill a bunch of them.

If people are going to call out Trump's rhetoric (rightfully so) from two years ago, which many Reps/Conservatives disliked as well, but ignore several prominent figures from their side who just a week or two ago called for incivility, you are part of the problem. You care more about having a win for your team than you do about your fellow man.

I felt shorter and sweeter made the point better, but ya, there's more than a just a few people on both sides, over time, that you could point at. That's not the point though.
