lol. So because you found some randoms on the internet that you trust as sources, I should automatically trust because you claim they're industry insiders? Just because they might know people in the industry that tell the stuff before announcements (Which, by the way, I qualify as one of those people, as I have friends and former colleagues in over a dozen major development studios across the world that have told me about plenty of projects they actually trust me not to talk about) doesn't mean your sources know whether or not certain projects have been canned or shelved or why they were canned or shelved. Furthermore, they didn't actually say that games like GoD or GTA V were in development and canned/shelved based on that thread. One of them claims to know a person at THQ Nordic. Not sure how that person would know any more about GTA V on Switch any more than one of my sources at EA Bioware would. Would you care to tell me how they would know that?

Finally, it makes absolutely no sense. For one, Nintendo has funded entire games (hello Bayonetta!) mostly in an effort to change the perception of the kinds of games that appear on Nintendo's platfforms. They could easily eat the difference in cost of 32 GB cartridges for GTA V if that was the only thing stopping the game from coming out on the Switch. Secondly, Rockstar would know about the cartridge costs before they even started the project, so they would have had to have been comfortable with the cartridge prices before they started full development, which means there's no way there's an finished game just sitting there waiting for cartridge prices to come down. Thirdly, Rockstar makes the vast majority of their GTA V money on in-game purchases. Like hundreds of millions of dollars a year just on shark card purchases. I highly doubt they wouldn't be willing to take a smaller cut on game sales (that is even lower than the drop in cut they get when the game goes on sale) to forfeit that sweet in-game purchase gravy on yet another platform.

You argument makes absolutely zero sense. So if your "insiders" are peddling this, then you're putting your trust in the wrong people, and embarrassing yourself even further by insisting that others should trust them as well.

... so how much of that swampland do you want? My inside source told me that my prices are the best out there, and trust me, they know what they're talking about.

Those are not randoms, they are well know insiders among Switch community and on Resetera. How you talk and think, I would said that you didnt even played games not be part of industry. Did maybe said that La Noire is coming to Switch months before game was even announced at all, did you maybe hinted what 3rd party game will come to Switch and than later that was confirmed? They didnt said CoD or GTA V were in development and canned/shelved, but those games were hinted as one games we talking about. Vern, Benji and NateDrake talked mostly about that and they are trust sources, and Vern is actualy guy that said that LA Noire coming to Switch months before game was even annouced, he has some realible source in Rockstar/TakeTwo.

Point that they found Bayonetta 2 don't have anything with this discussion. Maybe they could eat costs, but later every big 3rd party publisher would expect same for their games, and later even Indies would expect same. We dont have exact details about possible GTA, maybe game was even finished and they waiting for cheaper price point of carts. If they porting game on first place, they would want good profit from start, and that includes profit for phsical copies of games, if we talking about some difference in place other companies would use 32GB cards, but we know thats not case.

So no, like usually your point don't make any sense. Believe in what you want, but dont pretend like its crazy to believe trust sources that were very accurate before.

So same like last time, your logic and points dont make any sense, and you constantly moving goal posts and ignoring facts, so I don't see point of continue discussion with you.

They are randoms. If they're not, tell me their names and their sources. That way i, and anyone else can check their credibility. If you don't know either, they're just people you trust and nothing more. I don't care about what they might have claimed in the past. You're assuming that the person that leaked about LA Noire wasn't making a guess, or actually had inside information. That might give them credibility to you, but you can't expect anyone else to just trust anonymous sources from the internet like you like to do.

I know my posts don't make any sense to you, but that's because they're based on logic and reason. See the thing about NDA's is that Nintendo could make a deal with Rockstar to eat part of the cartridge costs and *gasp* no one else would know about it,  and even if they did, it's not like they also have an IP that has sold close to a 100 million copies that's a license to print money that they're interested in porting to the Switch. Rockstar has leverage over Nintendo, other companies do not. Business isn't based off of what's fair, it's based off of profits. Even still Rockstar could do what other companies have done, and that is, ship the "game" on a 8GB card, and require a massive download to play. Or they could make the game digital only. There's so many easy ways around this that it literally makes no sense to believe there are games postponing development due to cartridge costs. If rockstar thought it was worth their time and money to port GTA V to the Switch, they would have done it by now. There's a 0% chance the game is even close to complete and they just shelved development due to fucking cartridge costs of all things.  Rockstar might have looked at the cost of bringing GTA V to the Switch, thought of the resources it would have taken, and decided it wasn't worth the effort, because that money would be more profitable elsewhere, sure - that happens all the time. But there's no way they greenlit the project with any type of meaningful effort and then suddenly found out that "holy shitballs these Switch cartridges are expensive! Better cancel this project!". Never happened, I guarantee it.

Which goalposts did I move? Which facts did I ignore? Please list them. If you're going to make those claims, back them up, just like you asked others to do when they made claims about you.
