lol. So now the goalposts are shifted once more to "You tried VR headsets dozens of other times including all the top rated ones of the past two years, but you haven't tried the latest one so your opinion doesn't matter!"

If I play Astro Bot and I'm still unimpressed you'll just shift the goalpost to "Play (insert top VR title of Q1 2019 here) and then tell me again it's not "there yet"!

It's not there yet. It's not close to be being "there" yet, and one game is not going to change that.

It seems like you’re on a personal crusade since we had this discussion a few months back. You’re always attacking me, getting aggressive and trying to talk me down. I won’t engage anymore. Do what you want, it’s pathetic. Not willing to waste my time with someone who constantly and willingly takes everything I say out of context just because he has lost faith in VR and is depressed because of that..no matter how it’s really developing, nothing is gonna change your mind at that point.

Edit: And concerning your PS1 comparison:

There is no right or wrong, but saying the PS1, which gave us games like Tekken or Crash Bandicoot, wasn’t “there yet” would be just as one sided as saying PSVR/Vive/Rift aren’t in their first gens.

Not even close. There's plenty that's going to change my mind. First - much better headsets, second - much better prices, third - much better sales, fourth - much better games. You need all four that is going to convince me that VR is "there yet". So far, all you have is a little bit of #4.

You honestly think if someone played Crash Bandicoot in 1996 and was unimpressed with it, and decided that 3D game consoles "weren't there yet" they were "wrong" for having that opinion? Then eight years later, saw one of their friends playing, Metal Gear Solid 3 for the PS2 and decided that 3D visuals, controls, and overall gameplay expereience were finally impressive enough to invest in that they'd be "wrong" for having that that opinion? That's foolishness.

Let me tell you an anecdote. I can remember getting Crash Bandicoot when it came out as a greatest hits title, and showing it to my father, whose job has always given him access to the bleeding edge of technology (he was part of a project that developed one of the first 3D televisons for example). He was incredibly unimpressed, and I was kinda shocked. So he broke out his laptop and showed me a demo video of one of the projects he was involved in, and it became very clear to me why he was so unimpressed. The difference between what his client was rendering realtime, and what the PS1 was putting out was night and day. Sure it was great for a $200 console in 1997, but that wasn't my father's standards. Last Christmas I brought my PS4 Pro home for Christmas since my brother and I love to game when we get together. We were playing a game of Madden, when my father walked into the room and said "Since when did they start playing football on Wednesday?". When I told him it was a video game, he was shocked. He couldn't tell. Now his eyesight isn't what it used to be, but you get my point. He clearly went from being unimpressed with game console 3D graphics to being very impressed with game console 3D graphics.

Ohh , and by the way. PSVR/Vive/Rift aren't "first Generation VR headsets". They're like.. what? 5th? sixth? But definitely not first.
