My monitor is 4096 x 2160, however, it's about 2 frames (60fps) slower than my 144 hz monitor. I really have to try to notice the difference, but unless I'm playing a single player story game, or something, (which isn't often) I opt for the higher frame rates of my monitor, than the 4k attributes of my TV, so I play in 1080p despite having a 4ktv. It's not an I dont have a 4k TV thing so I don't play 4k, it's I need response time reduced more than i want higher resolution and graphics... There's also super sampling.
