Again, iOS software and hardware are not designed just for games thats a clear fact, while hole Switch is designed just for games.

Irrelevant to the argument at hand ...

The Tegra X1 clearly isn't just designed for games. Did you not know that the SoC is a CUDA compatible device which is currently the biggest compute API platform in the world that is used for all kinds of scientific applications ?

Apple has its hardware (GPU for instance), but that GPU is not designed just to be used for games. Nintendo uses Nvidia GPU, who has more advanced GPU technology needed for consoles, Apple or Nvidia!?

Are you serious ?! Aside from already mentioning that the Tegra X1 SOC is CUDA capable device since when did Apple have a serious compute API and why would they spend their transistor budget on things other than games when they have the 3rd BIGGEST GAMING REVENUE in of all companies ? Nvidia gets dick for selling software on the other hand ...

Whoever has the more advanced GPU technology needed for consoles isn't even the right question. It should who has the MOST EFFICIENT GPU technology since it makes all the difference in portable hardware design and Nvidia is clearly last by a wide margin compared to the rest of the industry (Adreno, Apple, Imagination, Mali) since their last design that had any real design wins was the Tegra X1 which was released OVER 3 YEARS AGO! No serious mobile hardware OEMs takes their power hungry chip designs seriously ...

iOS development environment is made in way that need to work on different types of iOS hardware, while on consoles you have just one type of hardware.

Apple has all that while Nintendo in case of Switch Nvidias and own, but fact that Apple is not focused only on games.

How is this any different with enhanced consoles or in the Switch's case with two differing performance modes ? This effectively means that dedicated gaming platforms now have multiple performance targets in the same sense like iOS does ...

As for your last line, the same applies to Nvidia as well since they have a massive stake in CUDA ...

The Tegra X1 isn't designed primarily for games, but Tegra X1 has GPU thats Maxwell based that actually Nvidia gaming GPU technology.

Yes, I am serious, who is more advanced in GPU Tehnology, Apple or NVIDIA? Tegra X1 was most efficient mobile gaming chip when was released.

Simple because Switch still using same hardware in both modes. Consoles have two modes, iOS had on tens of differents types of hardwoods, even PS4 and XB1 have only two.

My my point still stands, Switch is designed (even if Tegra X1 is not designed only for games, Switch concept, OS, controls, tools, APIs, engine suppport...) just to be used for games and to use most only from games, while iOS software and hardware are not designed just for games thats a clear fact.
