Cross-play is going to be a paid service? this is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Sony aren't offering cross-play because they want ppl to jump into their eco-system. That is the money play right there. More ppl buying PS4s, hopefully buying PS+, hopefully buying digital games/ items. All of this is money for Sony. They will offer cross-play as long as they think it wont hurt their growth in any way (meaningful or not), so PS5 could be an introduction point because presumably PS5 will run all PS4 content anyways so existing PS4 owners will just upgrade rather than jump over (not all of course) |
First off that's not what I said. Secondly, you either replied to this immediately, or didn't bother to read further posts.
PS1 - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.
PS2 - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.
PS3 - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.
PS4 - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.
PRO -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.
PS5 - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.
PRO -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
