Of the ones they announced, and which I've played in some form:
VII: Best combat system, best magic system. Second best story. Legendary title. Graphics have aged incredibly poorly.
IX: Throwback game, jack of all trades. A lot of people love it, but not one of my favourites. Still, an all-around good game
X: Best story, best leveling system. Very linear. First FF game with voice acting, and it shows
X-2: Lol
XII: Third best story, strong overall presentation. Replaces battle micromanagement with a form of programmatic default actions and override controls.
XV Pocket: Haven't played this version yet, but it's a slimmed down version of XV's story
WoFF: Aimed towards a slightly younger demographic, but still enjoyable. Monster collecting, turn based battles, Fan service game given most major characters from throughout the series makes at least cameo appearances.
