I want to say "no" mainly because I feel like NSMB fatigue has set in and people really just want to see something new from 2D Mario. High chance that it's really just the gaming community that feels this fatigue, and that the millions of more casual players will be happy with NSMBU though.
For now I think that the game will sell well, but probably not as high as 10m.
