They won't port 3D World because there's already a 3D Mario on the Switch.

That doesn't make any sense. Many people who didn't own a WiiU or want to play it on a mobile device or want to play it in Full HD are willling to pay for it (even if they already played through Super Mario Odyssey).

Why shouldn't Nintendo get their money with an easy port? It's a Win-Win situation for Nintendo and Mario fans.

And the same goes for a port/remaster of Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 to the Switch.

In the past the rule was also one Zelda game per console... eventuelly the WiiU ended up with Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess HD and Breath of the Wild. Thanks to BC you could also play the older Wii versions of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on the WiiU. The Virtual Console added the original The Legend of Zelda, Zelda 2, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks to the WiiU, making it the ultimate Zelda machine.

I'm expecting similar support of older Mario games for the Switch in the next years.
