considering past issues Nintendo systems have had where users take a save file from the system, alter it on a PC and then have the game run it to have a game crash with a buffer overflow glitch (possible with Zelda on the Wii for example) I'm fairly certain this was a heavy handed method of Nintendo hampering potential hackers ease of opening up the system to homebrew and piracy (which is possibly by connecting two pins on the right rail of the joycon charging portion of the switch , whooopsie)

But aye, it was Nintendo that opted to keep the save files locked safely inside the Switch body.

You are aware that the system is hacked to the balls by now right?

Both with free and paid methods, homebrews, backups, emulators, even linux is running on it...

See the bolded part of my post there, "which is possibly by connecting two pins on the right rail of the joycon" That is the hardware fault which exists on all current switch models which allows a user to install homebrews and piracy.

Yes I'm aware, that's why I mentioned it.... in the thing you quoted, Switch is hackable with a spare 32gb sd card and a metal paperclip.
