I agree!  This is also something I would be surprised to see.  However, I never thought Civ would come to a console again and here it is.  I told my wife about this, and she said. "Never say 'never'.  You never thought Dr. Strange would get a movie or Unbreakable would get a sequel."  She's right.  So many things I never thought would happen are happening.  Lets bring HoMM to consoles!  I want to believe!

Yeah. People always ask for the big games for Nintendo platforms. But these days big games mostly are shooters or action games. This was different, at times Civilization and Starcraft were the big names in game industry. Publishers are still reluctant to bring shooters and action titles to Switch (except Bethesda), but maybe strategy can be big again. I see already some strategy, also from indies, on Switch. Into the Breach, Bad North, stuff like this. If the big names come too and maybe find again a big customer-base on console - that might be great for this genre and for gamers alike. So I would add: the new Jagged Alliance title, Starcraft 2, Anno.

This would be awesome if it happened.  I used to really be into PC gaming, because there were so many great strategy games on the PC.  In my mind PC gaming is really about Strategy games, RPGs, Sims and Adventure Games.  I could never get into FPS games, and other action games were just plain better on consoles. 

I would love to see all of the great old school PC franchises come to Switch.  We've already got Diablo and Civ on the way.  It would be great to also get Starcraft, Heroes of Might and Magic, Master of Orion, The Sims, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Baldur's Gate, etc....  If devs want to bring these old PC franchises to the Switch then I am more than willing to pay.  It's already got old school console games like Octopath Traveler.  Let's see the old school PC games too!
