I assume people are quoting this?

From Sword of Destiny page 416. “She had fair hair, ashen white complexion and large impetuous green eyes”

Let me break it down for those people to understand:

"fair hair - ashen white complexion" and "Impetuous green eyes". So where does it say anything about being white?

in other versions (Gollancz, with the cover illustration made by Alejandro Colucci) this quote is 'She had fair, mousy hair and huge glaringly green eyes.' English audiobook has the same exact quote 'She had fair hair, mouse-gray, and large impetuous eyes'.

Is that a joke?

Complexion literally means "color of the skin". So her skin color is "ashen white". How can you quote something saying "her skin is white", and ask where it's said that her skin is white...

A bit ironic to say "let me break it down for those people to understand" when you fail to understand the most important word in the sentence...

Complexion can mean characteristics of other things too. It does seem pretty clear in the statement but I decided to give him benefit of the doubt.

Why I asked about the parentage. Are there dark skinned elves in the Witcher lore? That's the next question. I can't think of any. Nilfgaardians are white.
