What do you mean by SJW? Because shoving minority characters into roles that don't make sense to them doesn't seem like social justice for anybody. Making Ciri non-white isn't just absurd and unnecessary. In fact, it erases the identity that fits Ciri better for the sake of a meaningless form of inclusion. Rather than write in an original character that actually represents the black community or the asian community, they demonstrate how little they care about those minorities by lumping them together under some ridiculous acronym. BAME? Really? So if your ancestors hail anywhere from Africa or Asia, that's fine? Does "minority ethnic" just mean not white? That acronym basically encompasses half the surface of the earth! And they're going to put them in a Scandinavian character? This is disrespectful to black people, asian people, and white people, and everybody really. I don't think it's fair to shove this on people that like social justice. SJW as a term implies that anybody that thinks society could be more fair than it is now is just some unthinking militant for a cause. What these people are doing isn't social justice. There's nothing just about lumping all minorities together like it's everyone vs the white people, and there's nothing just about erasing the history and culture of scandinavia for...what exactly? The ability to wear non-white skin like it's some kind of boy-scout badge? They think it shows that they earned their "racial inclusion" badge? Fuck them. Don't throw this on people that care about social justice, because aside from a few people that are too deep into a certain ideological bubble to be reasoned with, very few of us are on board with this crap.
