Dead Cells on Switch is outselling the PS4 by a factor of 4 to 1

This is a matter of competition. Dead Cells on PS4 suffers from heavy competition. You won't even see it in the PS Store. Dead Cells on Switch is only one of the few games that shines on the console right now. 

Its obvious that in the Ps4, there is more competition, but in this particular set of time (august 3), the only competition is Madden 19 which launch 3 days after. from that ,sure you have Guacamelee! 2, Yakuza and DOSII for example but they launched at the end of the month. I Think you are underestimating the switch,  maybe owners of both ps4 and switch would rather play the game on the switch.
