Due to receiving a new (replacement) Wii, I am in a similar position (losing a completed savegame for Zelda).
Apart from the fishing sequences (my partner loved fishing in Zelda), I haven't even considered playing the game again. Its too long, not THAT much fun (pointless collection sequences?) and not that rewarding. The only reason I would do it again, would be to unlock the fishing area again.
I do think this is a "low-point" for the series. But that says a lot, as I still think its a very good game - in its own right. It just lacks the true personality that most of the other Zelda titles had.
