I disagree. Playing Fortnite on PlayStation locks out the ability to play on more platforms than playing on XB1/Switch. Please observe the hastily-drawn diagram below:
Due to Sony's hijacking of Fortnite accounts, accounts cannot freely migrate between all platforms. For an account associated with Switch/X1, there are four platforms through which a player can play their Fortnite account. For the alternative, there are only three options. As I'm sure you know, 4 > 3. Through a similar logic, more options > less options. |
PSVR doesn't count?
PS1 - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.
PS2 - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.
PS3 - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.
PS4 - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.
PRO -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.
PS5 - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.
PRO -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
