Switch is certainly not the Little Mac of consoles. Nintendo portables have always done extremely well. Gameboy in all its flavors, GBA, DS, and 3DS have all had very impressive numbers. It's their dedicated home consoles (post SNES) where Nintendo has struggled other than the Wii. The idea to nix their dedicated home console line was a smart one, just as the idea to nix Sony's portable line was a smart one.
