As someone who doesn't know about anything from Xenoblade, this sounds waaay too gimmicky, and also too different for an Echo Fighter. Having different properties on Monado Arts is reasonable for an Echo, as long as they're not fundamentally different or create such specific scenarios that haven't ever been implemented in Smash such as the locking an opponent's move one (not sure if it's ever been a thing in any fighting game, actually).

Not really, its easy to implement these things. Some of what i said are custom moves/items in game anyway
