It will be interesting to see how Nintendo reacts to their fan base being primarily adults from now.
The amount of adult fans Nintendo has amassed over the past 35+ years is simply going to outnumber any 5-12 year old range they can get from now on in any gen, especially with the Wii/DS kids turning into adults this gen.
Sure kids are part of the picture and always will be for Nintendo, but this is still a significant demographic shift for them.
