I didn't like it at all either. Any decent action scenes were given away in the trailers. I feel it was the same for the best comedy lines as well, and for the most part I didn't find it to be that funny.

But the biggest crime was really just the whole story/movie. The whole movie was basically just 4 different groups of people chasing one another trying to steal a briefcase. It had no neat heist aspect the first movie had. It was just the FBI, the Mob, Ghost and the good guys running around non stop with a briefcase.

Then this movie did a horrible job with Ant-Man. Seriously, they made him so pathetic and a joke character that I was sitting there thinking that really ANYONE else could make a better Ant Man than him. Hank Pim's line about how they didn't choose him, but he broke into their house and stole the suit sums it up perfectly. The first movie made you believe that he was the best man for the suit, this one made him look like he was inept. It didn't help they had him running around in a prototype suit for some extra laughs. I don't know if it was due to them wanting to make the Wasp look amazing, but they overcorrected on Ant Man. You can make the Wasp look deadly without resorting to making Ant Man look like a joke. (that was my fear with the Wonder Woman movie. Too often Hollywood makes others look like idiots to make the "minority/woman" look amazing. Or cheesy one lines, like when No mans land part came on. When they stated, It's no mans land, means no man can cross. I would have put down $1,000.00 easy at that moment if the movie paused that Wonder Woman was going to say "But I'm not a man" SO thankful they didn't. Black Panther also did a good job of ebing just a good movie and not trying to prove it was the first black superhero movie (It isn't. Hated that marketing) But Ant Man 2 and Ghostbuster 2016 were culprits of the make others pathetic to make the females awesome.)

I will never watch this again. I would rate it probably a 5/10 or somewhere around there as well.

They certainly did. Lang felt like he has the personality of a comedy sidekick rather than a superhero.
