Restocked again, sold out again. Square is really not keeping up with this. I live in Japan and have not seen a physical copy in any of the ~20 stores I've been to since it released. I know of three other people here that just couldn't wait and downloaded it. Digital ratio will be higher for this for sure

I was able to understand to Switch and PS4 shortages before since consoles have many components  but how hard can it be to produce cartridges and print the cover art for a game?

Cost isn't likely worth it? Game is selling out, but it's not like they're printing hundreds of thousands of copies each week. If anything, preorders will be better for Octopath 2 so retailers will order more.
