I would argue that the cost to produce or irrelevant. Otherwise games with ultra high production values should cost much more than 60 bucks. Also, high production values don't make a game good. Furthermore, you as a customer are not the one who should have to iron out how little a developer can handle costs. But hey, justify however you want ;)

The only thing that should drive a price up is a high demand.
